Bed & Breakfast Project in Lochem
We designed a custom banister and balustrade for a stylish bed and breakfast. The design exudes a Gothic atmosphere thanks to its distinctive arches and elegant scrollwork.
Gothic inspiration and unique details
The decorative elements are inspired by Gothic architecture, giving the staircase a stately and artistic character. A unique feature is that the B&B’s logo is incorporated into the wrought ironwork, making the balustrade not only aesthetically pleasing but also personal and distinctive.
Craftsmanship and technical execution
Our blacksmiths worked with solid wrought iron, shaped entirely by hand.
•Material: solid wrought iron, hand-forged
•Finish: deep black powder coating for durability
•Installation: mounted on the floor and wall, fitted around existing switches and outlets
•Style: Gothic lines, curls, and symmetrical composition
Precision in installation
Since the room was already equipped with light switches and electrical outlets, the design was carefully adapted. This allowed the banister to be installed elegantly without compromising the room’s functionality.
Final result
The result is a safe, durable, and artistic balustrade that perfectly complements the welcoming and historic atmosphere of the bed and breakfast. Gothic inspiration and pure craftsmanship make this project a unique highlight in our portfolio.
