Many clients want something “unique”—an elegant wrought-iron patio fence that no one else has. We find this a truly enjoyable challenge every single time. For example, this client wanted a beautiful fence to surround a circular veranda with stairs. Naturally, we had to take the architectural style of the main residence into account. That’s why we chose this “Art Nouveau” style. We developed this design entirely in collaboration with the client. The stunning leaf motifs turned out exactly as the client had envisioned.
Notice how the balustrade flows seamlessly into the two stair railings. If you look closely at the design, the metal curls appear feather-light and almost seem to float. But don’t be fooled. They are actually very heavy. This is exactly what a well-thought-out design achieves. To ensure the design stands out to its fullest, the support points where the wrought-iron patio railing meets the ground were also custom-designed. In this case, they are sturdy yet simple, so as not to distract from the decorative railing itself. The combination with the highly distinctive home creates a sublime whole.
Technology
This Art Nouveau decorative fence is made entirely of solid forged steel. It is fully galvanized and therefore completely maintenance-free for at least 10 years. The fence is one meter high.
